David and Mike,

It may be about time to ask Santa for a new KVM switch, preferably one
made by someone other than Belkin. It's my understanding that they
provide little or no intelligent port support other than the basic
mechanical/electrical connection. I'm getting excellent service from an
IOGear quad USB-type.
