RE: OK seems as though the interest is here

I, also, have been following as one of the "silent listeners" to the 
discussions about training (notice the use of the term, rather than 
certification).  As much as my travel schedule will allow, I will 
participate in the fullest.  I have a desire to learn about the OS and 
enjoy discussions with those who know more than me.

As an interviewer of possible hires to my company, I look at certification 
as  one factor in determining a person's knowledge base, ability to learn 
and accept greater responsibility, agility to apply new techniques to 
current situations,
ease of rapidly coming "up to speed" with new tasks, ability to provide 
broad expertise to similar situations, and the person's drive for 
self-fulfillment (which can be of great benefit to the company and its 
customers).  Having certification in a particular area is not  usually the 
deciding factor, but one more criteria I use in the evaluation process.
