Bigger than the largest disk available, I'm sure.  (At least in
theory.  In practice, I know people who have made 30+ GB filesystems.)

Just to be safe, make a small /boot as your first partition.  Then you
don't have to worry about it.

Why not use www.silug.org/LDP/?  :-)

BTW, fix your mailer.  Your email is coming with the following header:

    Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=X-UNKNOWN

The charset should be US-ASCII or ISO-8859-1.
