set up the proxy for transparent mode?  essentially, redirect all requests
to port 80 of the proxy and make the proxy understand that it should use the
host header + the request URL to give the full URL

Is there any way I can use a proxy in linux..

i.e. browsing from lynx, I can use the proxy settings in Netscape, but I
would like to use the proxy to connect to the cvs servers for E &
Gnome....
