Re: Avalon (Linux cluster)




I can tell you as someone with some knowledge of national defense that
inexpensive Beowolf supercomputers truly represent a threat to the current
balance of power.  Since they bypass existing supercomputer export
restrictions, I wonder how governments are going to try to deal with them...
