The only thing worse than a P4 with HyperThreading is a P4
without HyperThreading, but only about 75% of the time. 
Sometimes the context switching is more overhead than the
benefits.

On a non-P4 with shorter stages, register renaming,
out-of-order execution and other benefits, it's detrimental. 
Hence why Intel is not doing HyperThreading on the new
P3-based designs.
