You might want to try the "warn" setting during the install (or
SELINUX=permissive in /etc/sysconfig/selinux).  That will make SELinux
just warn whenever there is a policy violation instead of denying
whatever.

In most cases, the *real* answer is to run system-config-securitylevel
and turn off SELinux protection on individual services, or even just
adjust the policy on those services slightly.  Now if only the text
mode version included all the SELinux stuff...
