I second that, we put build our wireless boards at EMAC with mini-pci slots 
and put Intel Pro's in them(we can't manufacture the board with it on there 
cheaper than they sell it)
Plus it works great, It's free, and can be compiled as a module (just remember 
to compile the NET_RADIO option and crypto support in your kernel)
And isn't too tricky to install, although I think you have to install hotplug 
support or something if it's not already there.
