NFS + Win XP

Happy New Year!

I'm getting ready to start setting up a network file system on my home 
network.
I've got a Debian machine and a Windows XP machine.
Both have big hard drives.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best way to go with this.
I have no problem using either machine as the server.

Originally I was thinking of using NFS, serving from the Debian box.
The only problem being that XP doesn't appear to have native NFS support.

Is this the best route?
what's your experience.
