I say ditch it and buy a new one.

Especially since Microsoft loses money on each one sold. Milk that subsidy and stick it to "The Man" each and every time you buy one. :=)

Unless you're referring to getting it, uh ... "serviced" so as to let you use a tangible good any darned way you please. In which case, happy kernel compiling!
