Recommended distro for an older laptop

I would like to install on my Toshiba 750CDT laptop.  It is a 266mhz Pentium w/192meg of ram.  I am using a USB wireless network dongle, but also have a netgear pcmcia and a USR pcmcia wireless adapter that I could use.

I used to run Caldera's OpenDesktop on my even older Toshiba 405cs and I was surprised how easily it installed.  It recognized my sound, scrolling lcd screen and network card on its own.  

For capatibility, which distro would suit me best?

Any suggestions?
