	The RedHat response to your question would be Fedora
(fedora.redhat.com).  Essentially, Fedora is a RPM/RedHat clone of the
Debian stable/testing model.  Fedora will feed into the RedHat Linux
releases.  Not sure this is the route you want to go.  SuSE, Mandrake, or
Knoppix all seem to have fairly robust desktop environments.
