For quite a while now I've been fumbling with all the plug-ins and the javascript crap for mozilla and knoqueror and Galeon. And it would work maybe sometimes half the time. I am playing with Firebird now and I must say, it hasn't crashed yet, java and flash work right out of the tarball and no contrived install compile crap. Unpack the tarball and run mozilla-firebird-bin. That's it, user friendly and it works.
