naming eth0...

I am playing around shorewall with a dmz and I'm trying to control which nic
card gets assigned to eth0, eth1, eth2. The nic cards are all identical
kingston kne100tx (basically 10/100 cards). The driver is tulip and is
compiled into the kernel. How do I do this? Any suggestions? I was playing
with nameif to do this but its kinda kludgy this way. In my mind the ideal
way would be a kernel boot param ie eth0=mac0, eth1=mac1, eth2=mac2.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John
