Okay... putting:

24.107.34.126 bruneworld.com

in my /etc/hosts file has fixed ALL of my problems.

Thanks for all of the responses.  Agreed that I will only put IP's in my
hosts.allow file.  (My hosts.deny file just has "ALL: ALL" in it.)

Now my only problem is figuring out how to update the hosts file
automatically when my IP changes.  8-(
