Re: Interface Aliases...



Yeah.  Tried the up already.  Same message.  I've done this before.  And
I've always just done:

ifconfig eth0:1 up
ifconfig eth0:1 ip_address

That's it.  Then I take care of the routing, etc, that might be involved.
Would the fact that eth0 is a device used in masquerading in this
instance?
