Re: Linux accounting software

Steve,

Haven't used any ledger software. For personal finance
I have used Check Book Balancer (CBB) for about six months.
Haven't explored it completely; but, I like it much better
than using Quicken (tm) on Windoze.

    ftp://ftp.me.umn.edu/pub/finance/cbb-latest.tar.gz
    ftp://ftp.fifi.org/pub/cbb/cbb-latest.tar.gz

Fortunately, it even exports/imports to/from data that is
in Quicken Import File (*.QIF) format. Holds active data
in a simple text format file. CBB also makes cool pie charts
and is GPL licensed for Unix/X11 (not just Linux). It is
written in Perl and Tcl/Tk.
