My provider is Mediacom and my DNS IP is 24.14.190.15 or 24.14.190.17.
However, both are down.  I'm just looking for a temp solution for the next
few days.  I can ftp using an actual IP address but not using a name that
must be resolved using a DNS.

If your new IP is with Charter, (or whoever is your new provider) they'll
have to set up your DNS. If you have your own domain already, you'll have
to change the primary/secondary DNS delegations to whoever you want to
host your DNS for you. If that's the case, we can likely add an entry for
you no problem.
