SILUG: Wednesday, 9/1/2004 O'Fallon meeting

The next O'Fallon meeting of the Southern Illinois Linux Users Group
is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the
O'Fallon City Library. As usual, the meeting is at 7 PM. See the web
site for the address, driving directions, etc.

At the last meeting, someone was asking about setting up dynamic DNS
with BIND and ISC dhcpd. A day or two later, I set that up for a
client. If anyone is interested, I can go through how to set that up
(it is remarkably easy), and I'd also like to discuss a little problem
I'm having with the same setup on my network...

There's a new version of Knoppix out. I have to admit that I haven't
looked at what's changed, so that might be a good thing to talk about.
I can also burn copies for anyone who needs it.

As always, bring any questions you have, and we'll do our best to
answer them.

Perhaps after the meeting I can give everyone (who is interested) a
demonstration of Asterisk (open-source PBX software) over at the
store.

See you there. :-)
